Veggie Pride Parade in lower Manhattan yesterday.
The procession, which ended in Washington Square Park, featured
costumed bride and groom Penelo Pea Pod and Chris P. Carrot, who
exchanged vows and asked onlookers to "Go Vegetarian."
Organizers handed out free vegetarian and vegan meals along the parade route.
